Mathletes 2014 Summer Camp
Mathletes Are Everywhere: Discovering Math in Our Everyday World
One week camp during the weeks of July 14 OR July 21 in East Denver
Camp is for kids going into 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades (ONLY)
Cost: $200 ($175 tuition + $25 materials fee)
Registration forms will be online beginning February 1, 2014. If you’d like to hold a spot, please email us at mathletesandbookworms@gmail.com, indicating your child’s name, school grade for 2014-15, and which week you’d like to reserve. Additionally, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit that can be paid online via Paypal or you may mail a check to:

- Camp is designed and taught by Karmin Braun and Meghan Colasanti, both highly qualified teachers with Masters Degrees in Elementary Mathematics
- Camp activities will be rooted in the Common Core Math Standards and will all be hands-on, taking place both inside and outside the classroom
- New for this year, campers (and their parents) will fill out a questionnaire ahead of camp to let us know what their interests, passions, and goals are for “when they grow up”
- Some of the camp lessons will revolve around the campers’ interests, and depending on our information gathered, we will have guest speakers doing activities around these interests
- Please only sign up for one week. The second week will mostly be a repeat of the first week.
- Camp size will be kept small so as to differentiate for all campers and give individual attention. Camp sold out fast last year, so don’t delay on putting down your deposit!
We cannot hold your spot until we have received the registration form online and the non-refundable deposit either via Paypal or in the mail.
